Idaho IFTA Application

A business is eligible for an International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) license if:

  • It's located in Idaho.
  • It operates an interstate qualified motor vehicle(s) in two or more member jurisdictions.
  • The qualified motor vehicle(s) has a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of more than 26,000 lbs or has three or more axles. (Recreational vehicles, such as motor homes or pickups with campers used only for personal purposes, aren't qualified motor vehicles.)
  • It registers the qualified motor vehicle(s) in Idaho. (If you register your vehicle(s) outside of Idaho, contact the Idaho State Tax Commission.)

NOTE: You must pay all registration fees processed through this Web site by American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or VISA.
